Rhonda Furlong,
Executive Director

Rhonda Furlong brings a wealth of experience to her role of Executive Director at Timber Pines. After graduating from the University of Minnesota Crookston with a degree in Health Management and Long-Term Care, she began a career in healthcare. She has worked in social services, life enrichment, and health information, and has spent 11 years in senior living. “This experience has helped me develop the ability to provide a full scope of excellent individualized service and grow my passion for senior care services” she said.

Kristi Pederson
Kristi Pederson, Director of Culinary

Kristi came to Timber Pines after working at Walker Methodist Levande, where she earned a Servant Leadership award in 2021. She has a B.S. degree in education from St. Cloud State University. Kristi makes a pleasant dining experience the focus of her work. “I enjoy coming in to work and receiving feedback from residents and guests to make their dining experience even better,” she says. In her free time, Kristi likes to plan vacations, holiday outings, and special occasions with family and friends.

Kristine Henninger
Kristine Henninger, Director Sales & Marketing

Kristine started her career at Timber Pines in 2023. Her background includes over ten years as a successful business owner. Kristine’s role gives her the chance to educate the public about the Timber Pines community, help new residents with the move-in process, and bring resources to residents. “I strive to make a difference in a person’s life, either by helping them find their new home or connecting them with a resource that makes their life better.”

Annie Rootkie
Annie Rootkie, Director of Health Services

Annie established the Timber Pines health services team in 2023. She has an extensive background in health care, earned a B.S. degree in nursing, and is working on her M.S. degree. She chose to work in senior living to care for people in her home community. “I love providing education to residents and families to help (them) navigate the health care process,” Annie said. “Providing knowledge to residents and families, can result in the best possible care and outcomes, while empowering them to make informed decisions.”

Brendan Maxey
Brendan Maxey,
Director of Environmental Services

Brendan has been working at Timber Pines since before it opened, getting the building ready for residents and team members. He has worked in maintenance and environmental services for health care for over ten years. Away from work, Brendan enjoys taking road trips, hunting, and old cars.

Kendra Tacheny
Kendra Tacheny, Resident Services Manager

Kendra views her role of Resident Services Manager as building bridges in the community. “My passion is serving others, helping to create a positive environment, and helping to create a smooth transition when moving into Timber Pines,” she said. Kendra has worked in healthcare since she was in her teens. She was drawn to working at Timber Pines after hearing from others about positive experiences. She spends her free time with her husband, three children and two dogs. Her favorite hobbies include gardening and making stained-glass art.

Cathy Williamson
Cathy Williamson, Business Office Manager

Cathy joined the team at Timber Pines in 2023 and has seven years of experience as a business office manager. She’s worked her entire career in health care, starting as a teenager. “I enjoy working with the senior population and helping them navigate this part of their lives,” Cathy said. “I find my joy in answering their questions and learning bits and pieces of their lives.” When she’s not working, Cathy keeps busy caring for her 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys crafting and home projects, movies and singing.
