The Rushseba Team

Molly Carlson

Executive Director

 

Molly has been Executive Director at Rushseba since 2021. Her career in senior living includes roles as an adult day center director and in sales and marketing. She is licensed as an assisted living director through the Minnesota LeadingAge program.  Molly finds joy in making a difference every single day and views her work as a mission instead of a job.  Molly and her husband Dustin have two children, Ben and Allie.  The family runs a hobby farm north of Braham. Molly loves the outdoors and spending time with family.

Ashley Iversen

Director of Health Services

Ashley joined the Rushseba team in 2021 and accepted the role of Director of Health Services in 2022. She brings a deep love of working with seniors to her work and is passionate about enriching their lives and meeting their needs with personalized care. Her background includes working as memory care coordinator at an assisted living community, plus experience in surgery, clinic triage, urgent care, long-term care, and school nursing. She earned her RN degree in 2013. Ashley and husband Ian have three children: Noah, Brycen, and Aubree.  

Ashley Benolken

RN

Ashley is an RN with deep experience in working with seniors. She cares deeply about making the transitions of aging as smooth as possible, especially for those moving from their family home. She views her role as providing education and support wherever needed. Ashley enjoys traveling, boating, fishing, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Hannah Whittaker

Hannah Whittaker

Resident Services Manager

Hannah has been part of the Rushseba team since before its opening, starting as Life Enrichment Director before accepting the role of Resident Services Manager. Before joining Rushseba, she worked at St. Croix Hospice. Hannah’s mission is to make Rushseba the best place to live. She loves being part of the community and shares that the residents are like family to her. Hannah has a BA in Music Therapy. Her family includes husband Justin, children Liam and Sadie, and many animals, including a golden retriever who loves to visit her at work. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys attending church, hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding, and coaching youth sports.

Lisa Marie Westberg

Life Enrichment Director

Lisa joined the Rushseba team in 2023 and took on the role of Life Enrichment Director in 2024. She has a background in customer service management, electronics, and retail. Lisa believes in making every day joyful and fulfilling. “Being at Rushseba, I’m able to share, connect and learn from all the wonderful people every day,” she said. “It truly is the greatest gift!” Lisa lives on a mini farm with her husband, Ronald, three children, and many animals. She is very creative and expresses her creativity through crochet, crafting, painting, singing, and cooking.

Eric Peterman

Director of Culinary Services

When Eric joined Rushseba in 2021, he brought 35 years of restaurant experience to the role of Director of Culinary. He is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. He has two daughters, Bella and Chloe, and two cats. In his spare time, Eric likes to enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors with family and friends. His dream is some day become a “snow bird” and move to a warmer climate!

Kristin Touray

Lead Concierge

As Lead Concierge, Kristin is one of the first people you’ll meet at Rushseba. Before joining the team in 2021, she worked as a business office manager at a floral and gift shop and at a chiropractic office. Kristen shares that she loves coming to work to see her “second family” at Rushseba. “Working at the front desk, answering phones, getting to know our residents and their families fills my heart to the brim.” At home, her family includes son Karamo, daughter Jayla, three cats and a grand-kitty. She loves to travel and lives by the motto: “Say yes to new adventures; life is just too short.”
