Rushseba Station is celebrating its first birthday!

Rushseba Station

Rushseba Station, a beautiful new senior living community in Rush City, opened its doors to residents in 2020. Since its opening, 30 seniors have made Rushseba campus their home.

“Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors in our community, and I love seeing the evidence of this playing out in our residents’ lives,” says Jerris Miller, executive director of Rushseba. “Having successfully navigated opening our community in the midst of a pandemic was no small feat, and it presented many unique challenges for residents, team members, and our community at large.”

COVID-19 introduced several new rules and restrictions for senior communities, including having to close the doors to the public, which has meant that not everyone has had the opportunity to come inside and view this stunning new building.

Restrictions are lifting, and the public is welcome to come inside! As Rushseba Station celebrates its first birthday, they also welcome the community to join in the celebration. The public is invited to a Birthday Party Open House on Thursday, June 24, from 2 to 6 p.m. To RSVP and reserve a spot for a tour, please contact Gloria Nase at 320-358-3976 or gnase@walkermethodist.org.

Anyone entering the community is still required to wear a mask and should practice hand hygiene and social distancing.

“Rushseba Station is an incredible place, and I have loved watching it come to life,” says Miller. “I encourage anyone thinking about a senior living community to take a look now so that you can take advantage of our celebration special.”

During our birthday celebration month, anyone who takes possession of a Rushseba Station apartment by June 30 will receive their birthday month rent free for life! To learn more about this offer, please contact Miller at jmmiller@walkermethodist.org (no other promotions will apply).
